always boxers... briefs i only wore as a kid and even then only because my mom bought them for me... although most of the time I don't like to wear underwear at all. I find it to be confining...

I'm assuming Boxer Briefs are the boxers that aren't tight, but are tight enough for your balls be secured enough so they won't flap around when you run or walk.
